This lesson would occur in the same class that the Kentucky Kernel remix is assigned, in the last third of the semester. The remix assignment is the last major project of the semester, and it is designed to build upon rhetorical and composing concepts that students have learned about and practiced so far. After going over the assignment sheet, I walk students through this demonstration, and they would then have time in class to peruse ExploreUK searching for and analyzing articles to remix.
Course objectives: find, analyze, evaluate, and properly cite pertinent primary and secondary sources, using relevant discovery tools, as part of the process of speech preparation and writing process
